Coaching vs Therapy: What's the Difference?
Coaching clients often ask me what's the difference between Coaching and Therapy.
It's a fair question since Coaching sometimes involves issues that may be covered in Therapy.
The simplest explanation is this:
Coaching is Forward-Looking -- Creating positive solutions going forward. We focus on what's next and how to get there.
Therapy is Backward-Looking -- Trying to determine how the past has contributed to where you are today.
Both can help you get unstuck.
