Practice Gratitude. It Works.


When you're "in fear", it is very easy to feel like your thoughts and emotions are scattered all over the place. This, in turn, creates anxiety.


Gratitude creates a place for all those feelings to come together and land inside you. It allows you to feel centered and balanced again instead of feeling out of control.


Before you start your day, and before the "monkey mind" starts operating, reflect upon the things that you are most grateful for -- some of my clients keep a daily journal where they jot down their thoughts (it can be as simple as one sentence), others think about what they are grateful for before getting out of bed. Soon your "assets" - the things you are grateful for - will outweigh any fears and you will begin to feel more grounded.
